Iconic one day event during the annual Bright Autumn Festival
Autumn is our favourite time of year in Bright & Surrounds. Golden trees, crisp mornings to sunny afternoons, local produce in abundance and loads of festivals & events being hosted around the region.
This one day festival highlights the local produce of the region with cooking displays, tastings, a gorgeous market, kids activities and fun, local talent on the stage and general high country festival good times.
Family activities, games, entertainment & craft at the Wandi Nut Festival
Wandi Nut Festival truly is a family day with plenty of action to keep the little ones happy. Join in the festivities of the craft marquee for T-shirt painting and other artistic fun, hit the jumping castle, get your face painted (like all good mini nuts) or grab a hula hoop and let loose!
Grab something delicious for lunch and pull up a hay bale to enjoy day long entertainment from local artists as well as a talent contest to find the next Wandi Star. Great fun!
It’s all about the nuts at the Wandi Nut Festival!
What would a nut festival be without nuts of all shapes and sizes. You’ve got to try a warm, freshly roasted chestnut straight from the fire – put it on your bucket list. Stock up for the winter and meet the producers, with all your local farm gates in one place! Chestnuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, all locally produced straight to you.
Local food & wine is at the heart of this autumn event with cooking displays from local renowned chefs where nuts are the hero, as well as talks and other displays to get you in the spirit!
