The Bright Alpine Climb
Started in 1979, this event aims to get enthusiastic walkers and runners into the rolling hills to soak in the beauty of the area. Held over 4 days, traditionally on the Melbourne Cup weekend, participants climb Mt Buffalo, Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham and Mystic Hill. Join in with fellow participants and experience some of the very best running and walking trails in the entire country.

Bright Make It Bake It Grow It Market
Bright Market proudly showcases local producers and artisans all in one location, on the banks of the beautiful Ovens River. Held on the third Saturday of each month, you will find a vast array of locally-grown seasonal produce, jams and preservers, sweets, olive oils, craft beers and wines. You can also enjoy live entertainment and activities for the kids. A fun day out for the whole family.
Myrtleford Farmers Market
Another favourite produce market is the Myrtleford Farmers Market held on the 4th Saturday of each month. These markets are aligned to the seasonality of the regions produce with a theme throughout that can be experienced in cooking workshops and the catering on the day. Visitors get to connect with the produce and producers of the region.
The 24th Bright Art Gallery Cafe Culture Series
Every year this delightful program is carefully curated to enable you to sample some of the fabulous music on offer from some of Victoria’s finest musicians.
