Nestled in its creekside setting, the Yackandandah Community Garden aims to involve all members of the community in creating and maintaining a sustainable garden.
The garden is open for everyone to enjoy (locals and visitors alike), with no fences or gates. The garden is made from recycled materials and is collectively gardened on organic principles.
The garden is host to a monthly produce swap and workshop on the third Saturday of the month.
Yackandandah Community Garden has been made possible by funding and support from the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust, Sustainable Gardening Australia, Yackandandah Community Center, Indigo Shire and the wider Yackandandah community.
