Albury-bred, Melbourne-based, singer/songwriter, Georgie Currie brings her debut EP ‘Flowers for Your Worst Days’ to the Burke Museum.
Georgie is familiar to audiences as the lead singer of ten-piece outfit, The Northern Folk. Having recently begun her solo career, Georgie’s songs blend the broken, intimate fears of youth with a vocal intensity beyond her years.
Lyrically and harmonically mature, she paints portraits remarkable as much for their emotional power as their vulnerability. Amongst the intimate setting of the Burke Museum at Beechworth, this is an event not to be missed.
