When we were under lockdown and our local National Parks were closed we spent many hours hiking in the hills around our home town of Bright. The town sits in the Ovens Valley and is surrounded by pine forests and native bush. In this time we put together a selection of wonderful hikes in the area, some more challenging than others, and tailored to all requirements.
Let us guide you on some of our favourite trails and perhaps finish your day with a glass of wine and a tasty platter at a local boutique winery, or with a refreshing beer by the river. You will be rewarded with spectacular views, a delicious picnic lunch and some fascinating stories about the region.
Walks range from 10km-18km (option to join for the morning + lunch only). This is a level 3 hike (hilly, not mountainous, generally easy terrain). If you prefer something less challenging take a look at our Mount Buffalo and Bubbles experience (most Fridays).
Transfers from Bright and Porepunkah provided. Start 9am, end approximately 3.30pm.
From $165 per person.
